We can learn from the Utah Jazz

There’s a lot to like and learn from the Utah Jazz! A small market team who plays for one another; no superstar although DM is coming on. They have a great front office who have put pieces that fit together and appear to have a handle on player development, don’t  forget, they lost their best player. They could shock the world!

Step 1. Find a dpoy center

Step 2.  Fill your entire rotation with two way players

Step 3. Draft the best offensive rookie since Blake Griffin.

So... hear me out.  What if:

1. Isaac is a DPOY down the road (not primarily a center, although he does have the height to play it if he bulks up a bit)

2. WeltHam are successful in doing that to an extent (they have the track record suggesting they will try)

3. We draft Doncic and he is Harden.

I mean it's obviously incredibly hard to replicate as you were implying, but maybe we're in a decent position to make an attempt?

Yes.  We could.  That's just what Utah did.  They got gobert.  They don't have defensive weak link.  They drafted a star scorer.  We do that and we'll be good.
