For the most part. Iwundu looks better then his numbers may show. I think he can develop into a nice role player.

That wasn't the initial argument though. It was less players like Meeks even at a good price = more playing time for young inexperienced players. Which more than likely results in more losses but also lets us develop and figure what we have.

 

Somone mentioned that WA got a good price on Meeks and although they did it's smarter for us to distribute those minutes elsewhere.

 

Again though, there is a school of thought that not having veterans for the young players to compete against for playing time actually hinders their development. See the Sentinel article I linked a couple of pages ago.

It's not even that. He is a rotation level player on a just above vet minimum contract. You have to fill out your team somehow and he seems to be the type of vet you want around a young team- unlike your Jeff greens and Ben Gordons. The only concern if, of course, his injury history.

Actually Isaac had a lot of minutes in the 2nd half... He played over 9 minutes in the 3rd quarter and the last 6 of the 4th.....

 

 

I hated the pick, but I now admit after actually watching him... This kid OOZES star potential.

 

 

He really needs to hit the weight room and work on his body.
