Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 Not if they land the #1 pick and either draft a stud for a long time or trade it for one of these players on draft night. its 3x as likely to not be the #1 pick.
Fultz4thewin 2,464 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 And Ferrell could have been picked up by anyone. And you say Rob is a good scout. LOL Brooklyn started him and they even got rid of him. something happened in Dallas that made him click.

Miller4Prez66 545 Report post Posted February 23, 2017 its 3x as likely to not be the #1 pick. Possibly, but regardless they likely will get to add a good young player to the roster while keeping all of the good young players they already have. Selling out for George when he isn't guaranteed to stay or make you better than Cleveland today is a tough sell. Ainge is setting the Celtics up to be good for a long time once the Cavs become more vulnerable and the Warriors are not making history.

Terrence Jones and Terrence Ross are very close friends. I hope we make a play for him.

Thomas is 28. Horford is 30. They have a 56 win team right now and with George instead of Crowder they can knock off Cleveland. Especially with Love out for several weeks. If there was a time to go all in it was this year.

Totally agree with everything. Say if they get the first pick and draft Ball and let go of Isiah, they're still not going to compete with cleveland. I'd have a sure thing in Paul George with Thomas, and Horford right now because it's be the best chance to win it all.

You sign horford because you're sitting there thinking "ok maybe Thomas takes a big step forward, a couple young players improve, Bradley gets a little better. with a guy like Horford and some of these things happening maybe we can contend." ALL OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED!
