Ingram is still a prospect.

 

We need less question marks and potential and more of a player we know what we're getting.

4. Minnesota gets: Nikola Vucevic, Mario Hezonja; Orlando gets: Zach LaVine, Cole Aldrich, Jordan Hill

 

Tom Thibodeau may want some frontcourt help and the Orlando Magic are looking to add some backcourt scoring. Hmmm.

 

In this deal, the Minnesota Timberwolves get Nikola Vucevic, who could play alongside Karl-Anthony Towns to form a dangerous frontcourt duo. Thibodeau should be able to get more out of Vucevic on the defensive end, while Towns is able to cover up for any mistakes. It’s a duo that has major floor-spacing potential and would allow Andrew Wiggins to more cleanly get to rim.

 

Yes, they have to part with Zach LaVine, but at least they get Mario Hezonja back. Maybe Hezonja isn’t very good, or maybe he was buried in a crowded, sub-par Magic backcourt on a team that has featured two offense-averse coaches in his first two NBA seasons.

 

For the Magic, LaVine provides them with a true-ish floor general blah blah blah I DID THIS TO GET LAVINE AND AARON GORDON ON THE SAME TEAM DUNK SANDWICH.

I think it's just Martins being an idiot doing interviews. The leaks are coming from that side. if you even want to call them leaks. Is it a leak when the guy goes on the radio and explicitly states "WE'RE TOTALLY GOING TO MAKE TRADES!"

 

but you're right. anything more than "we'll continue to explore all options to improve and we wont hesitate to make a trade if the trade makes sense to further our goals" is just dumb.
