Because we aren't concerned with his offense. We're concerned with his defense. Going to the d-league and letting him hit shots isn't going to get him more playing time. Learning the defensive rotations is. He can only do that here.

Mario is not going to get better by sitting at some point he has to prove it on the court. And Watson is not good at offense or defense and don't give me this all too used phrase "a calming influence". That's just bs

Watson is actually very good at defense.

 

Normally I'd agree with you but it's just been too important of a stretch. we win tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if he played a bunch tomorrow
