I know it's a preseason game, but I dont buy that having Elfrid, Gordon, and Ibaka would have made this one competitive. We still have very bad tendencies that need to be ironed out.

 

Frankie has lots of work to do with this roster. And Henny is gonna be in the hot seat this season.

 

Well the point of Ibaka being back is he would allow us to play an offense focused lineup or a defense focused lineup without neglecting the other side of the ball. LeBron and Frye pick and rolled the Biyombo Vucevic front line to death. We couldn't deal with that. Ibaka fixes that somewhat.

Not to mention AGs pick and roll defense is superior to both Vuch and Biyombo (he needs a short nickname or acronym) that gives us more versatility on the defensive end.

Right. I mean for all we know they attack us differently and we still get blown out. But they can't do the same thing against ibaka

I agree this season is going to be hard. I'm still surprised how many fans here think otherwise while the rest of the media seems much more realistic.

Well this team has a lot of young and extremly talented players. However, they lack chemistry. I just hope this season is going to be better then last one. I hope next season we will be watching Orlando in the PO. As for this one, I just hope they will play smart and beautiful basketball.
