Franchero MVP 391 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 Elfrid flirting with a triple double. 20 points 10 assists 8 rebounds only 1 turnover with 5:47 to play... Unfortunately, Detroit is shooting 60% from the field and we're down 15 And that's the issue -- our guys never all play good all at once. If Oladpo plays great, everyone else sucks. When Payton almost gets a triple double, we get womped.

When Payton almost gets a triple double, we get womped. Yeah.. It's frustrating that we can't seem to have the guys all play well at the same time. It's just the inconsistency of being such a young team

JJZFL 623 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 Hezonja crash landed into the rookie wall Not like he was all that great earlier in the season. He has to be considered a potential bust at this point.

JJZFL 623 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 Yea , NO!! Your negativity is so repetitive. Oh please. How can you say that after the past four years? Realistically we are not good, and our prospects for getting better quickly are by no means clear. You can attack the messenger and pretend otherwise, but as the years go by, it's getting harder to do. Do you think Hezonja has shown much this season? HeHateMe 697 Report post Posted March 24, 2016 I thought Mario would give more this year, but still to early to call him a bust. Most his issues this year seem pretty fixable. He needs to improve as a dribbler/driver, adjust to the physicality of the NBA, and just increase his overall feel for the game. I think the game moves faster than he's ready for. But all of those things should be improved with experience and off-season training. This isn't like when we said "well if Payton just becomes a better shooter/scorer, he'll be good". That's much easier said than done. Mario's issues will be fixed by just playing more and getting better acclimated to the game. Didn't watch the game after the first half (couldn't take the lack of defense) but nice to see EP have a solid game. Problem is, it's just 1 game. But still good for him.
