The Official 2015-2016 Trade Thread

Recommended Posts

No 3 pt shooting, no defense, kinda fat.

Completely overrated prospect

It amazes me how non existent Jabaris 3 point shooting is since his jumper looked so good at Duke.

it always makes me laugh that people ask kyler stuff on twitter...

and any response he gives is some variation of KG's "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE"

Hey bro, sent you a trade offer again. At least tell me what you think!

Here is an option that could bode well for both teams. The Lakers send Lou Williams, Brandon Bass and Larry Nance Jr. to the Magic for Tobias Harris. ESPN Trade Machine approves.

The Magic have won only 2 games for the entirety of 2016. Bass and Williams are locker room leaders who will help the young Magic squad in more ways than one. Also, Nance Jr. has a very bright future ahead of him and will add a lot of depth to the Magic’s front line.

Realistically, Orlando would demand for one of Lakers’ three prized talents – Julius Randle, D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson. It’s highly unlikely that Lakers would agree to trade either of them for Harris, who has shown patches of an all-star calibre player but also shows glimpses of inconsistency.

This season, Harris is averaging 13.7points and 7 rebounds. It is a disappointing stat line for a player whoaveraged 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds last season. Due to this decline, the Magic realize that Harris’ trade value has dipped considerably.

I think I'd do that.

actually, nevermind. I haven't checked up on nance in a couple weeks. There was a time in mid December to mid January where he was averaging something like 10 ppg and 7 rpg but it looks like he's fallen off considerably since.

I'd want one of their other young guys.

Tyreke Evans will likely miss the rest of the season, reports Shams Charania of The Vertical on Yahoo Sports. He plans to have surgery this week on his right knee, the same knee on which he had surgery that knocked him out for the first month of the season, Charania notes, adding that he’ll finalize those plans after meeting with specialists this week. It’s also the same knee in which he’s been suffering from tendinitis that’s kept him out for the past seven games. New Orleans had reportedly been gauging the trade market for him, and the 26-year-old swingman is apparently among the players the Cavs have been eyeing. The Pelicans had been showing a greater willingness to move either Evans, Eric Gordon or both than they had with Ryan Anderson, writes Ken Berger of CBSSports.com.

Evans not being available could create more interest in Harris/Frye/Fournier and increase the value coming back.
