GAMETHREAD: Memphis Grizzlies @ Orlando Magic

That call was as clear is day. No excuse. It looked like Vaughn wanted to strangle that ref. lol Great start by the Magic.

Payton is killing it. When he is aggressive we are a dangerous team. That said, we need a rim protecting PF with a mean streak really badly.

Payton has 6 assists so he's only on pace for 24 which makes me appreciate Skiles' 30. That might stand forever.

It does seem like our new found aggressiveness on offense has trickled down to JV a little bit. That was a clear charge though, even my mom said wasn't that a foul (and no, I don't live with my mom, she's visiting...which is why I'm not in the chat room).

Pace has slowed considerably, but Memphis is good so that's to be expected. Still like our grit and the way we're trying to play. It's an identity, which we didn't have a week ago.

I'll let it be known that I'm enjoying Frye's game tonight. Some improved defense and toughness

Pace works for Frye. He's more than capable of trailing for open looks.

I think this high paced offense is making the officials work to. There's much more possessions in a high paced game so they have much more to account for. They also have to run the court too like gazelles.

This.

He's staying directly in front of Zach Randolph and actually holding his ground well.
