2013-2014 Trade Watch Thread

Recommended Posts

I liked him in the draft. Pretty sure he's not valued as high enough of a return for afflalo.

I'd imagine he'd be part of any deal. I want to see if he gets more PT though.

Portland trades:

2015 1st round pick (2014 is owed to Charlotte)

CJ McCollum

Wesley Matthews

Meyers Leonard

Orlando trades:

Arron Afflalo

Kyle O'Quinn

Doron Lamb

Our backcourt of the future would become Oladipo/McCollum, Wesley Matthews is a decent veteran (27 years old, so not very old either), and Leonard would take O'Quinn's place and probably has much better potential than Kyle anyway. Plus another pick which is always good. I think Portland would be the type of team that would want Afflalo for their playoff push this year.

not feeling a McCollum/Oladipo backcourt. I like the rest of the trade though.

I'm trying to figure out a way that afflalo ends up on the Knicks for shumpert and hardaway jr but the trade isn't there. At least not one that makes sense.

Portland can't trade their 2015 pick right now since they already traded their 2014 pick.

Ah I forgot about that rule. they don't really own many picks in the coming years

You guys like apples? How about these apples?

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l3xakdh

Orlando receives McCollum and Robinson

Houston receives Harkless, Baby and O'Quinn

Portland receives Moore and Asik

Why? Houston gets a solid PF/C in Baby and good young prospects in Hark and O'Quinn. Portland gets the center they want in Asik. Orlando continues their rebuilding project with young prospects and a salary dump.

If Portland makes a deal, it's going to be to deepen their bench imo
