Jameer Nelson practiced fully with his Orlando Magic teammates on Tuesday, and it’s increasingly likely that he’ll be able to play Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz despite his sprained left ankle.

 

“My plan was just to do as much as I could,” Nelson said. “I guess I deal with pain better than some guys, but I didn’t feel any pain today. It was a little weak or whatever, and that’s to be expected, because I sat off of it for a few days.

 

“I’ve got a smile on my face,” he said, laughing. “It feels better than it did yesterday, a lot better. So, that’s a positive. The test will be how I feel tomorrow after practicing on it.”
