West to the Magic allows Orlando to slide Rashard Lewis back to his natural SF position. West being on a championship contender and in a contract year

What the crap is that website and why is there a link at the top of the site to his suggested Magic/Hornets trade from two years ago?

Hornets Receive:

SG J.J. Redick

PF Brian Cook

C Marcin Gorat

Magic Receive:

PG: Mike James

C/PF Melvin Ely

Big Party

I know Portland is in the hunt but I'm having a hard time imagining Roy and Paul coexisting. The move doesn't make sense for them.

Exactly. They both run the offense with the ball in their hands. Also, Portland would have to trade away a good chunk of young talent to get Paul.

Also, isnt trading Roy for Paul (what some analysts have been speculating) somewhat of a lateral move?

I mean Paul is better, but why trade the face of your franchise, a player that the city has completely embraced, along with some decent prospects for Chris Paul?

It seems like Portland would be making a move just to make a move.
