I could see Boston slipping to the 6th seed next season as well. They were the league's most apathetic regular season team last season. Though, this isn't to say that they aren't a contender come playoff time, when they'll actually care.

They are also going to have to deal with the loss of Perkins until some time in December (or more?) which will only be compounded by the retirement of Sheed (even though he didn't bring much in the regular season last year). O'Neal isn't going to bring the same type of defense that Perkins does manning the center position for Boston.

Charlotte is in our division. The Raptors, Knicks, 76ers, and Nets fill out the Atlantic division with Boston. So yeah...the Celtics will be a top four seed.
