Your Best Magic Memories

[I love my PTSD. 92]

I went to an Indiana game during the Magic's first year. The tickets were a gift, and I didn't realize they were in the very top of the upper bowl.

 

Tickets were really hard to come by in those days.

 

As my wife and I started to climb the upper deck steps, she got vertigo when we got half way to our seats. She said she couldn't make it, and that we had to go because she was sick and couldn't stand the dizziness. I was crestfallen, but she insisted on going. Very grudgingly, I agreed.

 

Fortunately, we bumped into an usher as we were getting ready to leave and they recommended that we visit Fan Relations. We did, and they found some seats in the lower bowl for us. It went from a disaster to a wonderful experience in an instant.

 

The next year we got season tickets, and have had them since. All because of the incredible customer service of the Magic staff, and their helping someone who was just a regular fan have a great experience instead of a dismal failure.

Had to be Nick Anderson stealing the ball from Michael Jordan in the Conference Semifinals. At that point I thought are team had the making of a dynasty, little did I know that he would later brick 4 free throws in the finals and that MJ would come back and kick our tails the next year....and then Shaq left

The nick anderson steal is also my favorite, I was lucky enough to be at that game too, the crowd was going nuts.

so many memories...

My wish is to be there, at the Arena, at least one time to watch it with my own eyes....enjoy a real good game.
