Agreed....Just a little frustrated that here we sit on July 1 again with no major news of impact players coming to the Magic! I know it's not final yet, but doesn't look promising!

No but if you can only acquire players through trades and not free agency than you probably shouldn't trade away assets for nothing that you could use in a trade to strengthen your team!

What is the point of trading to free up cap space if you can't net a star in free agency? I wonder if a trade involving Oladipo, Harris, and Frye could have gotten us a star player to build around? Right now we are just signing role players (backups), but I feel like we are still missing that one key piece to put them around? Aaron Gordon may eventually become that player, but will Rob last long enough to see if that happens?

As good as Hennigan has been at Drafting, I still feel he has something to prove when it comes hiring coaches and bring in the players to help us win. I believe he is highly intelligent and will eventually prove it, but for now we wait!!

Bottom lines is Players want to play for coaches with a proven record of winning! Players will listen to those coaches because they know they will lead them to greatness! Somehow I don't think a Kevin Durant for example would be like.....ooooh Scott Skiles, I want to play for that guy he is championship caliber!

I agree, I am tired of the homerism with this organization with the Brian Hill 2 times garbage!! Go out there and get us the best coach possible that has experience and that Free Agents want to play for! I am tired of second rate coaches like Vaughn, Hill, Davis, Etc. Bring us our Chuck Daly, bring us our Van Gundy. Translation: convince Brooks or Thibs that this is a Championship class organization that they want to be part of!

I believe we deserve some lotto luck on Tuesday after watching Howard and the Rockets get to the Western Conference Finals? I was reading where Alex Martins was going to be representing us this year instead of Pat Williams, not sure I am crazy about that idea??

Do you think Thibs could attract a Lamarcus Aldridge this year or a Kevin Durant next year in FA over a Scott Brooks/Gentry? I am sure it factored into Gasol's decision decision to go to the Bulls. If your answer is yes you have to go get the guy! Without giving up a lotto pick obviously.
