Magic will keep JJ unless things change in 24 hours...

Recommended Posts

Good, as we should. Last thing I want to see is JJ go to the Bulls only to see his game expand further and help THEM win a title. Glad Otis realizes you don't let career 40 percent three point shooters who hustle non stop leave just because it will cost a million or two more than you really wanted.

The only thing Im worried about is, If we resign jj I hope he doesen't get comfortable like Gortat did and take a step back.

I agree with Chase here.. I think matching JJ and balooning the payroll to that degree, it only makes it that much more urgent that we trade VC and/or Gortat away.

Maybe Bass, if he isn't going to be put in the rotation. Dunno that answer to that one yet.

I hope this won't be the case either but I have faith in our 'Ironman' that he'll probably see he has a shot at a starting role now if VC continues to go AWOL

Orlando Magic general manager Otis Smith said Friday that the team will retain Redick. The Magic matched a $19 million, three-year offer sheet that the Chicago Bulls made for Redick.

I agree and honestly, JJ deserves a big pay day. He worked hard for it. I have a feeling VC is gone and the Magic plan on starting JJ.

Geesh..Otis is talking about Bass and VC thriving next year. While thats very possible, I can't believe hes keeping so many players.
