Every time someone is injured on this squad, someone else steps up for them. So hopefully, Barnes can step up the defense and JJ can step up on the 3pt shooting. I"ve seen it all too often watching the Magic play this season, someone is going to step up...they have to.

I was looking up the stats for MP against the Hawks, it was quite shocking actually.

 

In the 4 games they played he was 2/14 from the 3 point line and averaged 5.5 points in 21.5 minutes. I know, I know, I can repeat the mantra too, "the postseason is a different animal" but as I was looking at the stats, I realize that JJ was 5/14 from the 3 point line and averaged 9.75 points in 25.29 minutes. Now both MP and JJ's minutes are a little embellished because they both started in one of those games.

He was in very good spirits post-practice and yelled "Sa-vah-ge" at me as he walked out the door per usual.
