Not sure if this has come up in any other threads so I'll just ask it here, but what's the worst a team has ever been beaten in the playoffs? I know that we beat the Celtics by 47 back in 1995, but has anyone ever given a bigger beating, not to mention, in the second round?

I read that teams that got blowned out either in game 1 in the second round by 40+ go on to the finals?

Two teams have won by 47 points, and two teams have won by 43 points. Both teams are the Magic and the Lakers.

No, no you did not read that. Stan Van Gundy did mention on the presser he will be showing the guys all the playoff games where teams blew out a team one game and then lost the next game and will make it an emphasis that the team is up 1-0 and not 114-71

Close.

You said ON their feet..

HINT: Someone is OFF his feet. Like... In the air. I know it's rare. But if you look closely, you will see it.
