Old video on Vince

Recommended Posts

#10 - Eh, who cares about the Raptors

#9 - His mom needs to go away. He's a grown man.

#8 - I'm sure he was joking. Of course he's going to dunk.

#7 - He's just paying respect to the greatest player in history in a meaningless game. That's a reason to like him if anything.

#6 - Blaming players for getting hurt and acting hurt when they really are is stupid. It sucks that he apparently gets hurt often, but that's a risk every GM knows about beforing acquiring him.

#5 - Minor scuffle. The guy probably deserved it.

#4 - He attended his graduation. Big deal. He still played and tried to win...

#3 - Well seriously...Bosh for MVP that year? LOL!

#2 - He controls if his trade is lopsided? Talk to the GMs. Not his fault.

#1 - At least he's honest.

I would say reason 10 giving out plays to the opposing team is one of the biggest reasons i think he's a ****** bag, and always will be.

People always wondered why we give Wince a hard time, the dudes a quitter plain out and simple. Sure he gave the Raptors some decent moments, but it was all washed away by the way he left.

Good luck with him you'll need it.

And we'll still get further in the playoffs than Toronto

Realize that a lot of the Toronto incidents happened when he was young and dumb

I have to agree with this poster. Magic got a real bargin in Carter. I can see why the Raptors fan hate him. Hope he does not screw the Magic too.

Don't like #1, 5, 6, or 9.

Number one is kinda pathetic because he's so freakin arrogant. The reason that he chuckles when he says it is beyond me

I would love to see your reaction, or scratch that who cares about you, the reaction of the Orlando fan base if you found out he was giving up plays to the opposing team, or faking an injury when the team is doing bad, (opps he already has). Speaking of who cares about the Raptors, our fans are louder, crazier and come out more to support their team even when things go bad. thats more I've seen from other teams in this league.

What can we really learn from this? Vince was a gigantic baby and if things did not go his way, he was not going to take it. He was doing well in Toronto, then realized he wasn't going anywhere.

Not only that, but saw the spotlight started to go to Bosh and away from him, and he was not going to have that (before when he was losing, he was at least the center of attention). Things heated up in Toronto and turned out ugly when he left.

I believe that aspect of Vince has basically gone away as he grew up and played in New Jersey.

Actually, I HOPE it went away. The only difference between then and now is that VC is a lot more expandable than he was, so I doubt he'll be trying to pull any of those things down the court (not only that, but he's ****ing 33 years old. You'd hope he'd act like a grown-up).

Carter is a cancer your own players (meaning) Lewis is tired of him hogging the ball all the time we had him in his prime and got us nowhere you have him in his 30's and he sucks.

tell me how many games do you think Carter has won for you as opposed to lost?

Hey it was in best interest of the franchise- he wanted a better chance in the lottery

And Rashard told you this?

One game i know that he won for us was the first time we played Boston the first time. An yes, i realize he isn't what he used to be- we all....ermmm most of us realize that. I will admit that defensively, I do not like him, but offensively, he will make some crazy shots and miss the same shots in return. Many if not all of us were excited when we heard about the trade, but realistically many of us forgot that we were getting the Vince of 2009, not the Vince of 2001
