Toronto does not have the MLE or LLE

oh yes they do sir...they had to pull off a S&T in order to keep them both, hints, the S&T...

God stop talking if you dont know what your talking about please

Toronto doesnt have a MLE because you have to be over the cap at the start of the offseason

so hint hint no they dont.

You are completely off here. Unless we are getting the trade exception FROM Memphis.

UPDATE: In one of the truly random delights of NBA trades, Orlando receives a sizeable trade exception as the fourth team involved in the trade, according to two of the sources with direct knowledge of the deal. Thus, the Magic send Turkoglu to the Raptors in a sign-and-trade as opposed to Turkoglu signing straight up with Toronto. Those two sources said Turkoglu does not get a sixth year in his deal, which Orlando could have given him as part of the sign-and-trade.

WOuld have been nice to see Turk get a 6th year cause that would have been too funny.

The Raptors and Magic agreed to handle Turkoglu as a sign and trade for two reasons. First it allowed the Magic to acquire a significant $8 million plus trade exception. Second, it allowed the Raptors to retain their mid-level exception. The Raptors are now free to spend their full mid-level on another free agent

After a series of trades fell through this week, the Trail Blazers have settled on their next target: Utah power forward Paul Millsap.

Although Millsap is a restricted free agent, meaning the Jazz can match any offer, the Blazers are preparing what one source called a "toxic" offer designed to exterminate interest from other teams.

Millsap, 24, is a bruising and active player who excels at rebounding. Despite being only 6-foot-8, Millsap last season used his 250-pound frame to average 13.5 points and 8.6 rebounds in 30.1 minutes per game. His 3.3 offensive rebounds per game ranked fourth in the NBA and his 251 offensive rebounds ranked sixth.

Yupp. Toronto is getting a good deal here...for now.

I still don't like investing $30mil a year on Turk, Barfnani and Calderon.

But their roster is gonna be nyce indeed.

Once again, why do the Blazers need Millsap when they have Aldridge playing 37 minutes per game at the PF spot?
