stan is saying that we were not shooting free throws well... i can understand the fact that he did not want to foul kobe or fisher, how about trevor? he passes the ball, we could have fouled him, besides if i remember right, we still had one foul to give, why we did not use that to kill some time!!!!

watch the replay, jameer the mouth piece ran into kobes elbow.

if youblame anybody, blame your all star pg and french sensation who decided to take the last shot, sircus freak.

or that terrible hedo throw at the basket when we had plenty of time to set up for a shot.

Agreed. Hedo jacked that off way too early...

He had a pretty poor game but hey isnt it always the same case.. he simply vanishes whenever we need him..

Are you out of your mind? I have been very critical towards Hedo this year but lately he has been playing excellent basketball. With all due respect, if you think he "had a pretty poor game" last night, you are either delusional or retarded (or both).

At the end of the game (not OT), Pietrus should have given the ball to either Hedo or Lewis. Instead he took a way early & way off balance shot which even if it went in would have given Lakers the chance to put a three in and win the game. He tried to be a hero however he failed and most probably cost Magic the ring. Also, I really loved the way he defended Kobe. Kept his hands down, got as close to Kobe as humanly possible from the SIDE and just stood there. Did nothing.

Maybe MP should've jumped in the air? Or maybe put his hands in a position where the refs would bail Kobe out with another foul. He was too close to Kobe to make any sudden adjustments. Besides Kobe was what 11 for 31? Yeah he did nothing.....

If you thought that one shot in the end cost them the game, then consider how they got back into it after giving away a 12 pt lead. It probably wasn't the right shot, but it wasn't a bad attempt and wasn't close to the reason why they lost the game.

The only thing poor about Hedo's game was a few lazy defensive plays, and much more importantly, the only 50/50 ability to make foul shots.

Um.

At least he only had one turnover again..? And at least, unlike Rashard Lewis, he tried to make things happen?

You obviously didn't watch the play Nelson was standing still when he got hit in the face.

The rule states that if you hit anyone above the neck it is an automatic suspension for 1 game.

Kobe threw that elbow into Nelson not Nelson running into it.

In fact the announcers both agreed it was a foul and refs screwed up by not calling it.

actually nelson never established his position at all, he was still moving into kobe when he got hit by kobe's elbow.

Kobe was just trying to pass over nelson.
