  1. great post. it might be all same deal for player but its not for agent. agent doesnt have to live there, also his $ is based on player's contract so bigger the better for agent.

    Lamar Odom Available.

lakers had about 15mil budget to sign both ariza and Odom, so if ariza took MLE,then lakers could offer Odom 9.5mil. only way for lakers to keep Ariza was overpaying him with risk of losing Odom so thats why lakers went with artest right away with MLE. Odom wants around 10mil per year and Lakers offered him around 9mil i think.
  3. I think Otis made good decision, if Magic keep Hedo, that means Lewis's gonna be Magic's power forward, and it also tightens Magic's budget to go after FA bigman. Hedo played well in Magic but I dont think he's a last piece to win it all for magic. since magic got Carter, otis should focus on getting some legit PF to help Howard inside and move Lewis to SF.

But it's not like we got screwed any harder than we usually do. +1 Also, this kind of fouls are rarely called. The call (or no call) that makes me mad was at the 27 seconds mark in overtime, with Fisher clearly travel before passing the ball to Odom, heading him on the FT line instead of a well deserved TO. Fisher dribbled the ball once, on tv u cant see it cuz his body is covering the ball, but its obvious he dribbled. (when he pass, he passed with 1 hand not 2 hand)

Twice on rebounds he jumped on Dwight's back, that's a foul, unless you're a Laker with five fouls I guess. 2:40 OT http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/1569/howardb.jpg howard was double teamed by odom and gasol, he forced shot between them and his motion carried him too deep down below the basket, he had to jump backward to get rebound but defenders are right behind them, not just 1 but 2. Push in the back? yea thats when you establish your position and defender pushes you out of position thats push in the back. defenders are also entired to their position as well. 1:05 OT http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/4617/howard1.jpg I cant find any Odom on Howard other than this. they were going for the rebound, jumping up. I can show you more clear obvious fouls of Howard and getting away with it than those 2.
  7. quote: You obviously didn't watch the play Nelson was standing still when he got hit in the face. The rule states that if you hit anyone above the neck it is an automatic suspension for 1 game. Kobe threw that elbow into Nelson not Nelson running into it. In fact the announcers both agreed it was a foul and refs screwed up by not calling it. http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/66/animation1s.gif actually nelson never established his position at all, he was still moving into kobe when he got hit by kobe's elbow. Kobe was just trying to pass over nelson.
