We still need a playmaker, so I’m glad we made an early move and I’m excited to see what we do next. For those who think it’s an overpay, I don’t disagree, but I’m honestly just excited to see us do something. Bane is one of the best catch and shoot 3 point shooters in the league.

I’m honestly not shocked at all the Knicks fired Thibs. His style of using a small rotation the entire year and literally running all of his best players into the ground until they inevitably run out of gas or get injured is never going to work to win a championship.

I’d be shocked if we traded Suggs, he’s the heart and soul of this team… that said, it might be the smart basketball move to package him for a proven 3rd star that can stay on the court. We have more than enough evidence at this point showing that Jalen Suggs is an extremely reckless and injury prone player.

I don’t think anyone is down voting you, but rather the idea of Ty Jerome as a target, would be my guess. He was dreadful in the playoffs. So bad that he probably lost himself $100,000,000

I think the Moe decision probably depends on his recovery timeline too. He could miss half the season, so that’s something we need to take into account.

I agree that not everything is rigged, but honest question, the Mavs with a 1% chance of winning the lotto win it after everything they did with Luka, and it doesn’t raise your BS meter just a little bit? Game to game results aren’t rigged, but they’re certainly easy to dictate a direction if they want to and there are reasons Brothers and Foster have the reputation they do, and to me there’s quite a bit of evidence the lottery can be compromised if they wanted to.

I agree with you that Denver was bad yesterday and the spacing definitely contributed to it. It almost felt like watching a Magic game at some points. I also agree about the challenges the scrappy smaller defenders provide, I guess my comment was more on the fronting and entry pass denial. Those are all fouls that would’ve been called on Chet or Hartenstein, but weren’t on Caruso because of the size disadvantage.

That 2026 Suns/Wizards pick swap we have next year would def be a part of it. The hard part about trading for Booker and keeping that core 4 is I have no idea how we build out any sort of depth around them with no more money.

I dunno, I think Reaves isn’t valuable as people think. Also, Pelinka in their exit interviews today said the off-season focus will be on Big men and defensive wings. Seems like there’s a pretty significant match for us to help each other out in terms of team make up.
