Yeah, it got ugly there for a second. Our 11 point halftime lead turned in to a 5 point 3rd quarter deficit super quick. JR was on fire, Thompson was getting every rebound. Without T-Ross, we lose this game. I love his play this year

Get rid of Fournier and Vucevic yesterday

Just bad basketball. Thompson destroyed both Vucevic and Bamba, JR and Hill both can’t miss and despite Gordon and Ross shooting well, the Fournier/Vucevic two ball took over anyway. Also, the bench lineup with Martin was god awful in the 2nd half

Man.. Ross and Gordon both really shooting well, but Gary and Ace come in to the game and Ross and Gordon don’t even get looked at in offense. So over it

All depends on how serious we are about making a playoff push. We tank, he’s gone, we try to make a play, he’s a super important cog. I’d rather trade Fournier and extend Ross for half as much

I dunno. We’re 1-4 at home with double digit losses to the Clippers, Blazers and Hornets and an 8 point loss to the Kings. 2-2 on the road and a 1 point loss to the Sixers from being 3-1. We’re unbelievably inconsistent, so these next few games should be telling. Or we’ll lose at home to the Cavs tonight and go back in to full meltdown mode.

We’d probably have to throw in a pick, but Bron has tried to recruit Simmons before and he’s a win-now piece for them where Magic (Johnson) has already put the pressure on them to do so. Vucevic helps their Center weakness and would be great playing alongside guys like James and Rondo. We’d punt on the season (which we should do anyway at this point) but on paper a Ball/Fournier/Isaac/Gordon/Bamba future 5 has great potential. Then you have KCP and Ross come off the books in the off-season and our only guaranteed non-rookie contracts are Fournier, Gordon and Mozgov.

Yup, or trade up for Fultz or Ball. It’s almost like we’ve had an obvious, glaring point guard weakness for years

Agreed. We have the worst point guard rotation in the NBA, we don’t have anyone on the team that is a consistent shooter, one of our young guys that is supposed to be a future building block could get hurt walking in to the arena, and on top of all the fundamental flaws these guys have they also have attitude and confidence issues.

Oh, he is extremely easily tradeable with his contract... when he’s eligible to be traded. To be clear, I don’t want him gone, I just know how this franchise works.

His defensive aggression disappeared after he got two quick fouls. Kind of went through the motions on D after that

The problem with this theory is Isaac has consistently proven he can’t play big minutes. He’ll either get hurt or get in foul trouble.

Harris has really just owned whoever was put in front of em. Gordon picked up 2 fouls in the first minute and wasn’t the same after.
