Yeah, it’s probably too risky to start with that lineup, but I’d be happy to see it rolled out at some point during the game to see how it goes. Ugh, is it tomorrow yet? I need to get the taste of the first 2 games out my mouth!

I agree with most of your post. I’m not sure if Goga will help because anything he’d bring on defense would hinder the offense even further. I also don’t see any way we bench Cole for a rookie, when he’s hitting shots, he’s too good to bench in our current roster. If we win the game tomorrow it’s because Cole woke up. If we’re hellbent on playing a 10 man rotation then AB should get Fultz’ minutes for sure, but I’d argue we’d be better off just absorbing those minutes into starters and playing a 9 man rotation. I’m also more optimistic than I probably should be since the first 2 games felt so insurmountable, but game 2 quarters 2-4 we won 68-66 and game 1 quarters 2-4 we lost 64-57. As has been the story for the last month, slow starts are KILLING us. We need to throw WCJ back in to start. I’d be ok going big and starting JI and benching GH, but Isaac and his help defense tendencies is really hurting us when he plays the 5.

I’d really really love to beat the hell out of Cleveland on Thursday. The Cavs fans are insufferable, always have been and the trash talk is becoming way too personal toward our guys. Moe and Franz especially, it’s a good thing they’re mild mannered because some of the stuff I’ve seen said to them, I wouldn’t blame them at all for going Artest mode.

Yeah, this is a great point. Paolo and Franz work well when Franz can shoot. If his jump shot regression is his new norm, it’s not gonna work.

If it were me, I’d play a typical 8-9 man playoff rotation in the playoffs. Caleb Houstan being some sort of 3 point sniping hero is overblown bull**** that’s just not true. He isn’t an NBA player. He was -7 in 3 minutes on the court tonight. Game 3 I’d start Suggs/Harris/Franz/Paolo/Carter and play Cole/AB/Isaac/Moe off the bench. If we’re getting abused on the glass again like Allen has all series, I’d swap WCJ with Goga on a very short leash. I’d also play both Franz and Paolo 40+ minutes and have at least one of them on the floor at all times.

What it comes down to is this is a make or break series for about half of our roster to show us they’re worth a damn to be considered in our future plans. Through 2 games they’re all emphatically showing they’re not. I’m looking forward to being back at home, I expect our role players to play better and the Cavs to play worse. Okoro randomly becoming a 3 point sniper tonight was hard to stomach.

I just don’t understand how you can defend Mosley’s rotations at this point. He even finally benched Kelle in the 2nd half, just to play Caleb Houstan critical 4th quarter playoff minutes when we’re trying to make a comeback. Mose has been almost as bad this series as our 3 point shooting
