Shannon Brown

The Moore signing reminds me of one of those under-the-radar bargain moves the Spurs make just about every year. I mean the pass couple of years they stuck gold on these type of move with Gary Neal, Danny Green and Patty Mills. Let's hope we can have similar success with this Moore signing.

I don't think his skill set suits the PG position. He's more of a combo guard in the mold of Shannon Brown. Solid pickup though.

Put me down for Beast mode. I've been an active member of Skywise's Fantasy Basketball Keeper League for 2 years now, so you can count on me sticking around.

OKC benefited from that a couple years ago when they were able to acquire Eric Maynor from Utah by taking on Matt Harping's contract. That was a steal for them.

That looks like a helluva move by the Cavs now. -
Memphis is really high on Wroten, so I doubt they'll be willing to trade him.

Look at this way, the last two teams to trade their superstars (Cleveland and New Orleans) wound up with the 1st pick in the draft that year. So let's hope the trend continues. I think Shabazz Muhammad would look good as the new face of the franchise. Then somehow if we can get another 1st round pick, we draft Michael Carter-Williams from Syracuse. The kid is like a young Rod Strickland. -

I agree with Vucecic eventually equaling the value of the 10th pick. I actually think he's a better player than Meyer Leonard, who went 11th overall. -

Maybe. But I think they will be interested in Cory Joseph from SA, too. He put on a really good performance in Vegas with Jacque Vaughn at the helm. The Spurs also have until early October to decide whether or not to pick up his option, so they might be looking to trade him before then. -

Ken Berger @KBergCBS An aside: Sam Presti grooms Rob Hennigan for a GM job, and this is the thanks he gets? Dwight on the Lakers? lol Ken Berger @KBergCBS Another aside: Rival execs love what Philly did here. One asked Rod Thorn if he was wearing a ski mask on the trade call. -

I really like the two young prospects we got back. I think Vucevic can have somewhat of a breakout year like Nikola Pekovic had last season for the Timberwolves. He pretty much put up good number whenever he was able to get minutes, and he'll have that opportunity to play major minutes here in Orlando. And Harkless was a guy I thought was one of the top talents in the 2012 draft class. The kid upside is through the roof. I think he just needs to get in the gym with Mark Price and work on his jumpshot - because I believe that is the one thing holding his game back. -

I think you're overrating Iggy's market value. What they gave up for him was pretty fair value. -

The Magic should of push for Gasol to be included in the deal, and then flipped him to Denver for Gallo and Chandler. -

I think the Magic will look to trade for Cory Joseph after this trade is complete. Joseph is a very solid all around player and could make a nice backup for Jameer. He's pretty much became the odd man out in SA with the re-signing of Patty Mills and the addition of Nando de Colo. -

I really find it hard to believe that Hennigan didn't have his hands all over this trade. -

I think the Magic should've try to get Gallo instead of Affalo. Gallo is younger and a better player than Affalo Imo. He also has all star potential. -

This is what you call one of those "wait and see" type of deals, a la Memphis trading Gasol to the Lakers. I remember everybody thought Memphis got ROBBED, but that deal actually work out for both teams. Let's hope the same happens for us. -

I don't think so. Unlike Liggins, Harper has a guaranteed contract for next season.
