This team needs an offensive coordinator. It's too much one on one , especially in crunch time. Also, Paolo and Franz needs to get in the gym this summer and work on their shots. Franz hardly take any jumpers, anymore.

This team is poorly constructed. We get exposed everytime we go up against a playoff caliber team. You can't win in 2024 when majority of your team is non-shooters.

He's looking more and more like a #3 rather than a #2. He forcing things too much.

Why wasn't Ingles in over Cole to begin with? You just knew he was going to try to be the hero. Please upgrade the guard position this summer.

It's not that lofty of a comp when you take into consideration that I'm talking about Ingles as of today. The 16-18 mins Ingles. The poor man's version of the Utah Jazz Ingles. I'm not talking about prime Joe Ingles. If he was that guy, he'd be a top 10 pick in this class. As far as Creighton, I watched a lot of Big East games and they been very boom or bust all season based on their 3pt shooting. The spacing isn't bad, it's just Ashworth hasn't been the guy they expected. The level up in competition has affected his play. You rarely know if he's out there when they play the top teams in the conference. Which is why more ball handling responsibility have been placed on Trey and Baylor. I believe that's why Trey is having a down year shooting the 3. He didn't have to worry about that last year with Nembhard. He just had to focus on scoring. Also, I believe Scheierman is the guy on that team. The coaches in the Big East do as well, which is why they voted him 1st Team All Big East. He also was in the running for BIg East POY. I think Trey is the better pro prospect, though.

But Ingles benefited by playing off guys like Antetokounmpo Butler, Adebayo, and Paolo, too. Scheierman is playing a different role at Creighton. He's the primary guy on a team with bad spacing due to poor shooting. He shot well over 40% (47% in 2021-2022) from three in back to back season at NDSU. But it's not just the shooting, it's also his ability to create for other, too. The guy is a triple-double threat on any given night at the college level. He's just playing on a team that can't shoot.

I like Karaban, too. I just feel Scheierman can do a little bit more than him. I honestly feel Karaban should go back to school. He started the year on fire, but cooled off toward the 2nd half of the season - which is why he didn't make any of the All Big East Teams.

nah, I'm not comparing him to prime ingles, i'm talking Ingles from the past 2 years.

Baylor Scheierman is a second round target of mines. He can do a lot of the things Ingles is doing for us. Would be a good replacement.

https://twitter.com/i/status/1770881362242814036 Teams are going to regard passing on this kid. I wished we drafted him. I remember last year Rafael Barlowe from Locked On NBA Big Board was very high on him. I believe he had a Top 5 grade on him. He definitely would be a Top 5 in this class had he not reclassified.

Sh#t, sad. I think they were banking on getting this version of Kelle after his impact on the team last year. It definitely back fire, though. We'd be top 3 in the east if he was healthy, and playing at a faster pace, too.

Gary Harris shot is broken. I've seen him miss too many wide open threes to be consider a knockdown shooter. He was shooting close to 45% from three last season.

Our offense can put you to sleep. They need to pick it up in the second half, especially Paolo.

I mean, from what I seen he's been a three level scorer. The kid was getting anywhere he wanted to on the court. I mean he's 18 and his body isn't fully develop yet, but he attacks the rim pretty well for his size. Plus, you add in his play making and his potential to be a plus defender, I can't see him getting out of the top 20. He has one of the highest upside outside of the top 10-12 prospect in this class, and one of the hottest prospects, too. Teams are going to be intrigued by his size, age and potential that they'll be more willing to bank on his upside, rather than taking a guy that's 22 or 23 years old.

Two veteran NBA scouts told HoopsHype they’d select Carrington in the first round of this year’s draft. “Carrington has been able to score the ball and is going to be a very good NBA player,” one of the NBA scouts told HoopsHype.”He reminds me of a younger and healthier Caris LeVert when he was coming out of Michigan. He should be as high as the lottery, in my opinion. He can score at all three levels and play some point guard. It’s not his natural position, but he can do it. https://hoopshype.com/lists/2024-aggregate-mock-draft-zac-risacher-nikola-topic-cody-williams-reed-sheppard-rising His size, age and ability to score at all three levels will have teams willing to take a chance on him in the 1st round. More than likely top 20.

Wasserman has him going 26th in his latest mock, and had him going 29th in his previous mock. He's been one of the hottest prospects in college the past month, along with Devin Carter. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10112187-2024-nba-mock-draft-full-2-round-projections-and-pro-comparisons 26. Washington Wizards (via Clippers): Carlton Carrington 26 OF 58 Justin Berl/Getty Images Previous mock draft spot: No. 29 School/team: Pittsburgh Position: PG/SG Size: 6'5", 190 lbs Age: 18, Freshman Nationality: American Pro comparison: Nickeil Alexander-Walker One of the more interesting names teams will monitor during the predraft process, Carlton Carrington has divided scouts with his shotmaking, playmaking production and some athletic and statistical red flags. He finished the regular season averaging 1.9 threes, 5.2 boards and 4.2 assists, impressive production for a 6'5", 18-year-old point guard in the ACC. But he also shot 47.7 percent on layups, made just 23 half-court field goals at the rim and recorded 17 steals in 31 games. Scouts are drawn to his positional size, pull-up game and live-dribble passing, but they're torn by his lack of rim pressure, heavy reliance on jumpers and scary defensive playmaking rate.

I think Bub goes top 20 in this class if he were to declare. This will be one of the oldest draft classes, due to the Covid year, and he's the youngest prospect in this class (doesn't turn 19 until after the draft). Plus, he finish the year pretty strong, shot over 40% from 3 over the past month and rebounds the ball very well for his size. Just off his potential alone, and the way he stuff the stat sheet in his freshman year, I think he's a lock to go top 20 in this class.

Sign D-Lo and trade for Corey Kispert. Draft Johnny Furphy (reminds me of Trey Murphy) in the first round and Baylor Scheierman (reminds me of Joe Ingles) in the second round.

Yeah, we pretty much need to revamp the guard position. Harris, Fultz and Cole all need to be replace this summer. We just need a lead guard and another shooter to put things in place, offensively.

Never. I know everybody likes to compare us to Boston, but I think we're more in line with New Orleans. Two big athletic wings (Ingram and Zion) who struggle with shooting. But the difference with the Pelicans, they surrounded those guys with shooters. McCollum, Murphy, Hawkins, Marshall, Jones and Ryan. Everyone of those guys shoot over 39% from 3. Valanciunas also provide spacing, too. Weltman needs to follow suit, starting this summer.
