Too inconsistent. I've watched a few Lakers games, especially when they played against my 2nd favorite team the Warriors. Dlo needs a player like LeBron to open up the floor for him. When that happens, he is a prolific scorer. If LeBron is injured or on the bench, not so much.

Help me out, All Eyes. There are so many "maybes" in your response to my question. Since I already prepared a game thread starter for the playoffs, do you want it to be designated as for game 1 (only) of the first round--meaning, show a date, time, and place for game 1. Please tell me specifically what to do. I will understand if you want a dedicated game thread starter for each game separately. I can also understand if you want it to be left open for everyone who wants to do one. I will be out of town for the entire month of may and I won't be able to do anymore after the opening thread.

Hey Mods, I need for any one of the 3 to answer this question. I mentioned that I have prepared a Game Thread Starter for the start of the Magic's playoffs series against the Cavaliers. I thought about how many threads that have already been posted about 2024 Playoffs Discussions, including the one I posted after the Magic clinched a playoff spot (Titled: Orlando Magic Makes The 2023-2024 Playoffs! Celebrate!) In my opinion, both threads had the same intent (ie, to discruss the playoffs). The one I posted was not needed because most participants were posting comments in the other thread (2024 Playoffs Discussions). My question is: Should I not post the Game Thread Starter that I prepared for the Magics' opening game for the playoffs on Saturday, April 20th? My concern is that when game 1 starts, there will be posters who will be posting comments about the actions of the April 20th game in the 2024 Playoffs Discussions thread. I would like to know if the dedicated "Official Playoffs Game Thread" is not needed. As a matter of fact, we only need one game thread starter for the entire Series of Round 1 in the playoffs. A few hours before each game starts, All Eyes or someone else can post information for the next game--about who or what--in the Official Game Starter that I prepared. After the Magic wins Round 1, then a new dedicated grame thread starter will be needed for Round 2 because the Magic will play against a new team. ;)

Thanks, All Eyes On Me. As I said in a previous post, I won't be able to watch the games even though there is a TV at my vacation home. Comcast charges too much for internet or wifi along with the charge for cable TV. Best I can do is check the box scores on my cell phone. I mentioned earlier that I have a handheld mobile hotspot device that I can use with my 8-inch tablet, but my home is 3 stories tall with a lot of tall trees in neighbor's yards. Therefore, I would not be able to pick up signals. I will be rooting for the Magic from afar. :) GO MAGIC!!!

I thought about that Jay. Game 1 game thread starter for the April 20 game is ready. Do you or a mod know the start time? I can't find it. That is the only thing left to be included. I won't post it too early. Thanks for the 'safe travels' comment Jay. I needed to hear that.

I will prepare the game thread starter for the 1st game of the playoffs on April 20. I can do one for Game 2 and/or 3 if they are played by April 27th.

When I prepared and posted the 'Orlando Magic Makes The Playoffs' thread', it was intended to be the discussion thread for the playoffs. However, you just posted a 2024 NBA Playoff Discussion Thread. I used the expression 'Celebrate!" instead of "Discuss". But that's okay. You can lock the "Orlando Magic Makes The Playoffs" thread. Your thread actually cancels out the intended discusssion thread I started. I'm okay with that.

CT, I appreciate your reaching out to me and wanting to know if I would make game threads for our playoff games. Unfortunately, I am flying up to my vacation home in Maryland on May 1 and will be there 5 weeks. I will only be able to follow the playoffs on an 8-inch tablet using a mobile hotspot device (Comcast charges too much for internet and wi-fi). I could do the opening game if it started by April 27.
