    We need our PG back

When we had Jameer, I felt so confident in the Magic to pull out a win regardless if we were down by 10 or up by 2. Our offensive execution down the stretch was close to perfection. Now, I do not feel comfortable at all until the game is over. If we are up by 10, I expect to lose the lead. I also expect us to lose focus and let the game slip, something that would never happen with Jameer on the court. If any of you forgot how brilliant he was, just youtube him and watch how great he broke down defenses and distributed the ball. His numbers are only a fraction of what he really contributed. And like others have said, he is our true leader. I feel that Dwight will grow into a leader but it is something that can not be force fed to a 23 year old(with the exception of LeBron). When Dwight truly takes his potential and bust *** this summer, I will say he is ready. But until than, he is an excellent defender, raw offensive player and shows his age when things do not go his way. This team truly relies on Jameer and his will to win.

JAMES Game Thread 3/17 7pm Magic @ James

When Anderson Varejao shoots more shots than Dwight Howard, that is when there are some problems..

Dwight's response is ridiculous. He repeats himself a lot.

    Possible Off Season Move

Even though Rasheed Wallace would fit in perfect, he will be 35 before next season. To me, that is too old for our team whose focus is to win a championship not just one time, but several. I think the most realistic PF option is David Lee. He hasn't hit his ceiling yet and would compliment this team tremendously. Plus New York is holding on to their money until 2010. David Lee will probably be looking for a deal around 4-5 years around 8 million a year. Now for the salary experts..Do we have the option to sign a player to that kind of deal + the MLE this offseason? Not really sure how that works out

    Possible Off Season Move

I feel that if we don't get a starting caliber PF, we win in June. I think Hedo is great, but not in the final equation

    Possible Off Season Move

what about David Lee, I don't think the Knick's want to give him a big contract because of 2010 FA. Rasheed would be really nice.

    Possible Off Season Move

I don't know if anyone has thought of this but it came to me today, we may be better without Hedo. This off season, Hedo becomes a free agent but so do a few PF's that we could pursue. I just want to use Paul Milsap as an example. I don't know how attached he is to Utah Paul Milsap is playing at a high level and will be looking for a large contract. If the Magic chose to not resign Hedo and pursue Milsap and offer him $8-9 million a year. With so much hype the Magic have moving forward, Paul Milsap could easily accept an offer with the Magic. If we signed a PF instead of Hedo this summer, we can really put ourselves in a nice position come Playoffs Nelson/Draft? Lee/Redick/Pietrus Lewis/Pietrus Milsap/Battie Howard/Gortat/Battie Call me crazy, but that is a very nice line up. It would change the way we play, but we can always shift Lewis to the 4 and Peitrus to the 3 when Milsap is on the bench. It would suck to see Hedo go, but this is a business and our goal is to win championships.
