He only scored in double digits in one of the 6 games I think which is pathetic, they keep calling out Vince but Lewis played worst then Vince did in the ECF. I still won't sleep on Boston though, once Pekins comes back O'Neal is still a decent big man & another 6 fouls to use on Howard. Why don't you take a look at Kevin Garnett's numbers(you know, the guy Lewis was matched up with), and think about that. While Lewis didn't play well offensively (the guy was sick and given shots before every game), he neutralized his man on the defensive end, and that's all you can ask of your player if his shot isn't falling. So no, Lewis did not play worse than Carter did by any means. You don't sleep on any team, but if I had to bet on it, I'd pick the Magic over Boston next year without much hesitation. I am rooting for The Magic too, so lets see what happens.

What other team, besides Miami, is a real threat to Orlando? Keep in mind Boston lost their defensive coach, Rasheed, Tony Allen, and Allen/Pierce/KG are only getting older. I am not going to sleep on Boston again because of age or whatever other reason, I said that last year and they lifted our skirt up horribly. Jermaine O'Neal does fairly well against Howard. Howard, in the last 9 games against O'Neal (which would date back to 2007, has averaged 19.7 points on 57.5% shooting and 13.2 rebounds, and that's including some terrible games he had against the Heat last season. But he has also had two 30 point games, a 29 point game, and some around his season averages. O'Neal, in no way, does well against Howard. Last year, O'Neal averaged 12.8 pts/8 rebounds on 44.7% shooting. The year before he averaged 10 points/5.3 rebounds on 39.5% shooting (both seasons averaging around 28mpg. The year before that (2007), he averaged 15 points/6rebounds/3assists on 33.3% shooting you tell me who has the clear upper hand here Vince Carter is a year older & he didnt play too hot against them last year, well maybe we do have the upper hand on Boston it all depends on Lewis to me. How much worse is Nelson than CP3?

I love Jameer, he's a real good player most of the time offensively, but people keep forgetting how bad he is defensively..Seems like the other point guard have career highs against him quite often..Chris Paul is a totally different class all around.

I have a lot of love for Nelson, but I would take CP3 without hesistating, did you see this man play? & if you look at that New Orleans team from a couple years ago they didnt have anywhere near as much talent as this roster & if we were to get CP#, don't doubt we wont make another move.

    Paul wants out (with link)

I would Love Paul & Iggy, but hey thats my wishful thinking.

I don't want to get my hopes up on this again.
  12. I prefer we get Igoudala & move Pietrus or even Redick to the 2. Vince Carter is not doing anything for us. Iggy is a stud, he can finish at the rim, he's a good assist man as well. Arenas, I am not really feeling it.

You saw that running back for The Titans tell Bosh at the Espys that he's an Orlando fan but he might have to switch to Miami with the what they did..Psssst..That guy is from Orlando! I guess he's keeping the Love in Florida.

Magic GM thought LeBron was 'more of a competitor'

I swear Orlando has no luck if so! This is the only thing that worries me with all this "Big 3" nonsense. Is this a trend that's gonna continue for years?? Multiple players having sissy little slumber parties and (in between pillow fights, of course) vowing to play together? Sure it's fine and dandy for the one or two teams that land them, but what about the rest of the league?? Not a good recipe for any kind of parity in the NBA. I am against too unless it's The Magic .lol. But yeah the league is more exciting when theres a better balance of power, not juggernauts winning everything all the time. There are always gonna be juggernauts or dynasties.I just don't care for the idea of 3 or 4 guys making some kinda pact to hook up with whatever team can afford them in whatever city is the most appealing. Being an Orlando fan, I think we'd stand a much better shot at landing a Big 3 than an Indiana or a Cleveland. Those are the kind of teams that will really be screwed. Maybe I'm just overreacting a bit and Miami just had all the cards fall in place...but I really think the whole thing was planned well before any of those so-called summits. I think Wade had more to do with them actually wanting to go there than Riley...which is what a player should do for his team. Really, there is no way to prevent players from talking and being friends. Maybe Dwight should start having slumber parties this summer. Think about it... Melo, CP3 and Dwight giggling together and painting each others toenails. The very future of our beloved Magic may depend on it. I agree with you 100%!
