fan for too long 16 Report post Posted May 5, 2008 The NBA is a rigged game. PERIOD!!! David Stern has not cleaned up his game. The Tim Donaghy thing was just the tip of the iceberg. This game and many others have proved that they choose who is going to win and the refs are there to make it so. The NBA is a joke. It might as well be the WWE. Its all just entertainment. Theo, should have been fouled out by the 3rd quarter all he does is hold Dwight every rebound, if you cannot admit that and see it, then you are a complete homer and do not care that basketball is played the way it should be. The refs once again made it obvious who they were told should win. Rip was not fouled at the end of the game he fell and the officials bailed them out again. Do not even start about calls, after the refs blew the call at the end of the 3rd quarter. The whistle should have blown and play should have been re-played.. The refs stopped the play only after the Magic rushed and got the ball in after the Pistons got the benefit of the clock. Arroyo had the ball and was dribbling down the court with 4.1 on the clock and the refs then blew the whistle. The Magic would have scored easily if they did not stop the game then, because the Pistons were to busy laughing that the clock never started after it stopped at 4.1 for some unknown reason. To compound things worse is the Pistons scored there last 13 points from the free throw line, WHAT A JOKE, give them the game do not make them earn anything!!! 4th quarter, with only 17.6 seconds left the Magic had the ball down 2 on the scoreboard, but we all know they were really up 1. Which would have changed everything, Detroit would have had to foul us and then chase us, but refs did not want that to happen. NBA(WWE) David Stern(Vince McMahon) Just let us know who will win the championship and save the real basketball fans a lot of money. It gets a little to obvious this time of year... fan for too long 16 Report post Posted May 5, 2008 If that play did not give the Detroit Peestons a advantage then how about the no call on the Rashard drive in the last 17 seconds. Shard was fouled then Dwight, then Hedo and No call. I guess we should just start the game at 3-0 with Detroit up. Because that wouldn't matter either since they have the whole game to make it up. The Magic should have won this game by 20 easily with how badly we outplayed them but 19 to's and horrible decision making by turk and lew made this game impossible to win. The Pistons D was like a sieve tonight and we destroyed all the matchups. Even Jameer had his way with Billups. This is the game that you just scratch your head and ask yourself "how in the world did we lose this". Yes that fake 3 that Billups hit was at the end of the 3rd quarter and the Magic had a full quarter to get it right. You have to realize that a monumental play like that in a close game can just mess your whole psychological train of thought up and that high suddenly becomes a grand canyon low.
