He does, why does he? No spacing. But that's a personnel problem. It's more than that. Did you see what happened after Darko hit that jumper? His man rushed at him and created a lane for Trevor to get to the rim. That is coaching, he has removed that shot from Darko's game. We had spacing when JJ was in, why were we only putting him in for short streches? In the 4th when we were up, why did we not get Grant a breather to finish out the end? We need more pieces no doubt about that, and we need to hit our freakin free throws, we also need to maximize what we do have. There has to be a happy medium between cutting him out of the offense and making him the focal point. Goukas was talking in the post-game about Darko and mentioned him hitting the jumpers but said Darko was lacking confidence in the shot.
the notorious S.A.C. 89 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 So what your saying is a guy who was total money 2 months ago, BREAKING OUT AND FINALLY DEVELOPING AN ALL STAR OFFENSIVE GAME... now all of a sudden sucks offensively and should take the role he had as a rookie and never get the ball except for getting the garbage. Congrats youve now bought into the school of player development perfected by brian hill! Pick up your diplomas from otis on your way to the lottery.

Was this team winning those games where Dwight went on his scoring spree how about no and now we've won like 5-4 in the last nine games and could have been 7-2 if we were any good in overtime. the notorious S.A.C. 89 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Youre right, lets trade the bum for draft picks and start bringing garrity along too. heck if grant hill can win the comeback player of the year why not pat garrity...If we got the picks we could always use another fran, sasser or humphrey. Thats the ticket.
heartofachampion 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Dwight is very important to this team but he is not a scorer right now he can help the team by rebounding and playing stellar defense he is physically gifted enough to be an outstanding defender. Unlike Howard there are some players who if not scoring they have no purpose of being on this team because they can't do anything else. When Dwight is the leading scorer he loses a lot of potetial points because of his FT shooting and some of his turnovers lead to esy transition baskets and thats too much to overcome on a nightly basis. Every coach knows Dwight is turnover prone.
the notorious S.A.C. 89 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 So your saying the offenses problem was dwights amazing 80% fg shooting streak during a 5 game span and we are doing better because weve taken the ball out of a 80% field goal shooter and put it in the hands of 35% fg shooters. By that logic we wouldnt lose a game if we brought pat garrity out to shoot a few air balls and while your at it sign jarryl sasser to a long term deal as bad as garritys so he can ramp up the win total. Weve played a few dregs and won by chance...thats all thats happened. bring phoenix, dallas and san antonio to town if you want another losing streak. heartofachampion 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 First off I am not saying we need to take outside jumpshots and threes I believe we need to take less we might be the worst perimeter shooting team but I would rather have Grant Hill, Keyon Dooling, and Trevor Ariza attacking the basket then give Dwight the ball on the low post because they are way more effective. ibonedteribell 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Howard can never become a Dennis Rodman, he is too good to be true. If he would ge mean they would not hassle with him. This guy should have played in the NCAA to mature him slowly. Somebody goofed up here.
Undisputed4 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2007 You guys are absolute idiots. Dwight has no offensive game. Have you seen him try to make a move? If he doesnt catch the ball inside the charge circle he aint scoring. He has slow feet and no touch. Only reason Dwight beat out Eddy Curry for the All Star game was because of a few rebounds. Until he develops a go to move he wont be more then a better version of D. Rodman. Charley Rosen wrote a brilliant piece on him awhile ago. When Dwight has to take more then one dribble its laughable.
