The punch by Hatton backfired and his head ended up hitting that ring post. Well deserved by Hatton, IMO. Adam_Magic 56 Report post Posted December 9, 2007 Great effort by Hatton, thought he had Mayweather rumbled in the early rounds but nobody can deny that Floyd is an absolutely stunning fighter, he stepped up when it mattered and finished it with a couple of sweet left hooks. I agree Rich, thought Mayweather was very humble and showed alot of respect to Hatton after the fight, something he didnt have to do. Loved Ricky's comment in the post fight press conference about "slipping over" great sense of humor even after the loss!
