This would be a good point, if not for the fact that dedmon is making role player money while Biz is making all-star money yet putting up the same numbers. The fact you downplay the importance of luck in the draft when you're a fan of team that had huge luck once a long time ago that made us a competitive team and potential dynasty if it stayed intact, says a lot. No one is denying it's great to get lucky. I love getting lucky. Luck is awesome. As a GM though, it's your job to find success without just getting "lucky". Again, next argument please--this one is played out and tiresome. Rob sucks for plenty of reasons outside of the draft. Did luck trade Harris for nothing? Did luck get us whipped like a pig in the Dipo deal? Did luck put 75 mil in Biz's pocket when Dedmon is the same player? Did luck pay Jeff Green 15 mil? IN HENNY I TRUST We didn't get whipped in the Dipo deal. We just did it at the wrong time. Ibaka is better player in that deal. Again, majoring in the minors.
