I don't know. its hard to judge Vucevic's value in a market where so many good offense/no defense centers are available. On the flip side, Holiday is an expiring so that's going to detract from his value. And his wife's illness would put a huge ? on everything.

 

but if you have a premise of

 

1. Vucevic is likely to be traded

-when you look at it from a simple value standpoint of we have surplus talent at center, we cant properly utilize the full value of that talent, we have subpar talent at other positions, it makes sense to trade some of that center talent for other talent at another position.

 

2. if a trade would happen we're likely to trade for a point guard

 

3. NOLA needs a center and might want to cash out holiday's expiring.

 

the vucevic-holiday trade would make sense. I just wanted to get payton back into a good situation where he can go home.

He's way too injury prone for me to be comfortable but those lineups would make a lot of sense. We have a logjam at 4/5 and a void at 1

Magic starters tonight: Payton, Fournier, Gordon, Ibaka & Vucevic.

 

I like this starting line up. Probably the best we have at the moment.

Hezonja is a lot better when he comes in from the bench.
