Sorry about the wall of text, meant to break it up. We can disagree on why Dipo is not getting calls. I do think refs have a harder time calling fouls when small guys drive into heavy traffic (harder to see than, say, a 6-9 forward doing the same thing), but if you disagree, that's okay. My comments on Vuc and Harris are more about creating shots from the perimeter on drives, so obviously I should have explained that. Rushed post.

I agree, especially now that it's been stated that the Magic won't extend Fourniers contract.

I'd get rid of Watson honestly. Fournier hits shots when we need it. I know that he makes some bone headed drives sometimes but he's one of our more consistent offensive players. Seeing that our offense sucks right now I think that would be a huge mistake to get rid of him.

through three games (SAMPLE SIZE) we have a bottom 10 offense and a middle of the pack defense.

 

 

Oladipo, fournier, payton, watson, hezonja, dedmon, frye, and nicholson have been below average offensively so far

 

oladipo, vuc, gordon, dedmon, and smith have been our best defensive players (and above average relative to the league).

 

Our best lineup using pointless stats at this point is Napier, oladipo, gordon, smith, vuc

 

none of this means anything yet. just interesting to look at.

Gordon is putting up a 24 PER. will be interesting to see where that goes when he starts getting more minutes.

 

 

The magic are currently #2 in blocks. not something i'd think heading into the season.

 

Currently have the 7th most difficult Strength of Schedule.
