This is pretty much how I feel.

 

So when dealing with young players is the best course of action to be as inconsistent with their minutes and actual games they play as much as Vaughn has? Never has the line between Starter and Deactivated been so fine.

it really depends on if james Borrego is competant. I have no idea if he is. He's only been a senior assistant under Vaughn. He was the Spurs video coordinator for a while so that might be good. But I don't know.

 

I wouldn't call JV competent. I'm just hoping we can get someone in here with a Voice that can at least start to establish an identity for our team this year. I'd be willing to let Borrego handle it for the rest of the year and see if he can create some kind of consistency. Then we can evaluate Borrego and/or look for a replacement in the offseason.

 

Going in to year 4 of this rebuild with JV is unacceptable.

I have lost all faith in JV after only 4 games this year, you can't fix stupid! As far as replacements go I'd settle for the Amway Chicken Tenders Basket or the Moldyhobo coaching this team. I would strongly consider Marc Jackson even with the character flaws. I'm not sure Karl has enough fire to deal with our youth.

Yeah but the whole point is that you're not giving him a chance to be a proven head coach.

 

Listen, as I said before, I am not a huge JV fan -- but give the guy his chance and we will judge after the appropriate time.
