What a horrible idea. I would much rather see tanking than have the possibility that the top 3 teams in the league end up with the top 3 draft picks. It is not beyond reason that some of these teams aren't tanking, but really are that bad. Why not just restructure the lottery odds? That makes a hell of a lot more sense.

They need to just eliminate the lottery and have the worst team pick first and go in order from there. I also think they need to eliminate protections on traded picks. If you trade your pick, it is what it is!
