You know, the team with the most ping pong balls hasn't actually won the lottery since we did in 2004. Even with the worst record, you have a 75% chance of NOT getting the #1 pick.

This. We had guys play out of their minds tonight. Ayon was in triple double territory, Jameer had a career high in assists, Vuc nearly had a 20/20 and we got good performances from JJ and Afflalo. It wouldn't surprise me if we went on another 10 game losing streak after this. But it is nice to have an occasional win in between the tanking. We don't want any futility records like when the Cavs lost 26 games in a row a few years back.

 

This is spot on. I like seeing us compete in games but losing in the end isn't the worse thing in the world now with the draft looming. But, yes, we don't want to set any records in the process of tanking. I'm fine winning 1 or 2 every 12 games.
