The official 2013 draft...who do you like?

Recommended Posts

Steven Adams

As a Pitt fan, I've been following Steven Adams for 2-3 years now. He absolutely dominated Nerlens Noel last year (20 PTS, 20 REB) and has good range. He might need more than one year at Pitt to get used to the American competiton according to some people but he's very good (and taller than Dwight btw). I would be ecstatic if he went from Pitt to my favorite NBA team. If he stays two years, I would love to see Shabazz and then Adams in following years. Also Adams is a very good personality, doesn't love the fame and hype and is very likeable.

I don't want Nerlens Noel though and definitely not Tyler Zeller.

The problem with shabazz is his description (not overly athletic, smart scorer 6'5 sg) is really unimpressive for a top pick. If his talent is scoring, does that make him paul pierce? Marcus thornton? Kevin martin? Courtney lee? Jermaine taylor? Some bust who flames out after his rookie contract?

Guys who can score in high school without great athleticism are really difficult to project.
