Chuck Nevitt 3 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 Chad Evans @ChadEvansNBA A source familiar with the Rockets says they're holding off a couple days on signing Lamb. Basically saying "want him? Trade us now then" Tony Mejia @TonyMejiaNBA "@LFC_FLA: Still think Houston is in play?" Everything I'd been told since July 8 has Rockets emerging. LAL in 3way play. Deal must be made

Chuck Nevitt 3 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 Jarrod N Rudolph @JRudolphSports Don't put too much stock in this whole "Dwight likes Hennigan" talk. Dwight doesn't know him and isn't happy with how this is being handled Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA Howard wondered to Hennigan why offers on table w/ Nets and Lakers prior to Joe Johnson and Steve Nash deals were rejected, source says. Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA If Howard gets to free agency in '13 without having been traded to Nets or Lakers, Dallas is overwhelming favorite to sign him, sources say. Forrest Gump 14 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 So when can Houston trade the rooks? It really doesn't matter. When Morey made the deal for Artest, Donte Greene was a rookie and had just signed his contract. But, news broke of it, and the deal was done, they just couldn't announce it for a couple weeks. But the deal can't be completed and announced before Aug. 14 because Greene is not eligible to be traded until then, per league rules, since he signed with the Rockets on July 14. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3510261
