Offseason Thread Part VII: The Fall of The Lockout

Recommended Posts

If we can clear cap, I fully believe D-Will will sign with us. That has to be the new goal for Otis.

Otis doesn't seem to think long term. He's a knee jerk type of guy.

Did the Lakers just cut 10 mill from their payroll? Reminds me of how they prepared for the Shaqstakes by dumping the salary of Divac and others the year before... Hmmm

EDIT: Nevermind I see Okafor was included

Or maybe they'll trade Okafor and Bynum for Dwight. Otis say no.

That's probably because Dwight wants changes now instead of waiting six months. But I think if Dwight is sincere about staying then it would be in his best interest to wait and tell Otis to go after D-Will

Actually his new goal is to get Josh Smith and Monta

Are you connected to his brain?

So who's for going for it this season, trying to get one....or two, of Iggy, Ellis and Smith, and who's for trying desperately to shed one of Gilbert or Turk, amnestying the other before next FA period and trying to lure a big name in FA?

I say we get Ellis at least. Otis likes his GS choir boys.
