Captain Hi-Top 791 Report post Posted October 30, 2011 Congratulations on your selections and completing the draft. I want to commend most of you for some solid selections. I have judged the selections based select criteria, including: Awards Length of Run Popularity Cultural Significance Cast and most importantly.... my own personal preference. I compiled a list, by category, and without the name of who made the selection. I then judged each list, placing them in order or my findings and assigned a value (1-6). After completing my evaluation, i then associated each selection with the person who made it, and added the values accordingly. In last place, and to be honest, it wasn't even close, with a total of 16 points: VCplusD12 Way to go, you had 4 shows rank dead last in their respective categories. Chase was next to last with 20.5 points with a great showing of mediocrity, having as many spots at second worst as VC had in last, and a couple of last place shows to boot. He did have solid picks for Sports and TV Land (tied for first with M*A*S*H), which helped keep him from fighting it out for last place. Now, the next three are all very close. These three guys were slugging it out with one another, fighting for first, and allowing the champ to sneak around and clean house while they were busy with each other. Osprey comes in with a respectable 30 points, followed by a tie between Trey and Berto with 31 points each. Well done guys. For those of you keeping score at home, that means DoM has pulled through this competition with a whopping 39.5 points. M*A*S*H and Cheers were two of my all time favorite shows, add Monday Night Football to round out three top selections, and follow that up with The Wire, Cops and the Price is Right for second in their categories, and you have a recipe for a winner. TheREALBrooksThompson 157 Report post Posted October 30, 2011 Also, I too would say DOM wins. By a lot. It's hard to pick between Trey, Berto, and Osprey for 2nd. I want to give it to Berto for Win Ben Stein's Money, but I don't know if that trumps It's Always Sunny or Seinfeld, since I consider the rest of the three lists pretty much equal. But I don't like ties so I'll go Berto 2nd, Osprey 3rd, Trey 4th. Chase has too many lowest common denominator shows to compete with 2-4, but even with that his list is still far and away better than VCplusD12's.
