Orlando, FL – The Orlando Magic have acquired former lottery pick and NBA veteran Randy Foye from the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for the traded player exception acquired from Phoenix last December, General Manager Otis Smith announced today.

 

“Randy (Foye) gives us a veteran, go-to scoring presence, and an additional playmaker,” Smith said. “Our goal remains the same – to win a championship. Any time you can add an playmaker like Randy to help you reach your goals, you have to do it. He is a veteran in this league for 5 seasons and we are excited to add him without giving up any of our core players.”
