I could never comprehend the so called "star status" that Rashard received from Stan this year, but he definitely wouldn't/couldn't bench him like he can Gilbert. I'd rather see Gilbert play 20 minutes of mediocre ball, than see Rashard play 34 minutes of mediocre ball. Rashard was going downhill fast and appeared to be totally disinterested which was driving me crazy. Gil doesn't seem to be complaining about his lack of minutes because he's aware that he's not performing up to Stan's standards yet. I don't think the same could be said about Rashard if he was only playing 20 minutes a game because of his "star status". Give it some time. Hey, Duhon sucks. We all know that to be true.
