Magic GM fears Howard may leave

Recommended Posts

Are you kidding me ESPN? you're gonna start this **** now? We are gonna hear this crap non stop as soon as the Melo Drama is over.

It's an insider article and I wouldn't give ESPN one red cent, so if someone wants to post a few key notes please do so.

Dwight ain't going anywhere.

I hope you're right. You can never be sure with all the hoopla that went on last summer and what's going on with Melo now

Im not worried at all, Dwight is loyal and comes from a good family, he would never abandon Orlando like that, almost every interview I see Dwight do, he usually says he'd love to finish his career in Orlando.

I don't think Dwight's going to leave, but to judge the situation solely based off quotes to the media is a little bit naive.

For example:

"I got a goal, and it's a huge goal, and that's to bring an NBA championship here to Cleveland," James said. "And I won't stop until I get it."

We all know how that turned out.

I don't think he'll leave. He still gets a lot of that "spotlight" here, I see him on TV almost everyday. Also, it's not like we're some scrub team fighting for the playoffs. We're perennial contenders as long as Dwight is here, and I think as long as he has a chance to compete for a title here, he will stay.

But, I think Carmelo has a good team with future flexibility, and he wants to leave for a bigger market. So, anything can happen.
