Paul wants out (with link)

Recommended Posts

This only further solidifies how teams view Matt Barnes. Sure, they would love to have him on their team. But they all know better not to overspend for him, since he doesn't bring anything that they can't get from someone else.

Ezzp, there is no way the Knicks trade their entire roster other than Amare for CP3. I'm not sure the Hornets want to take on so many players either...

NOLA would have only 12 players under contract (nearly all expiring or 2yr deals) and all of those players are very tradable assets that are young, cheap and with solid upside.

They would essentially have an exciting young team with all the cap flexibility and assets needed so that they could trade for or acquire any free agent available to them.

The players they get are better than draft picks as they all are on cheap 1-2 yr contracts plus they've already proven to be quality NBA level players some w/very big upside potential.

You're ignoring the fact that the Knicks are trading away their entire roster....there is some people who believe they don't even want to trade Gallinari.

Here in LA the local radio shows are talking about Paul as if their his number one choice. Point is don't get your hopes up.

The Knicks do it because it gives them a really solid core and position themselves to make a serious run at Carmelo...since they would be over cap they would have MLE & BAE + min...even if what they got wasn't super high quality the addition of Chris Paul would create a huge amount of excitement in NYC especially after the decision. MSG would be sold out every night. In addition they get the perfect complementary big to Stoudemire.

Paul/Felton

_____/______

_____/Posey

Stoudemire/

Maybe Jameer will be our Ginobli? SVG Sad

A guy can dream can't he?

OR maybe we play Paul/Nelson/Lewis/Okafor/Howard

We played Lewis at the 4 and it worked wonders. This is our next experiment.

LOL. Can you imagine Nelson trying to guard Joe Johnson?
