I agree completely. Ideally, VC gets traded for a SF who can handle the ball, a lot like Turkoglu. Iguodala (crosses fingers) comes to mind as the PERFECT fit, but I'm not so sure how likely that is.

 

PG - Nelson, Duhon

SG - Redick, Pietrus

SF - Point Forward, Q-Rich

PF - Lewis, Bass or Anderson, maybe Brand

C - Howard, Gortat

 

Miami would have a sexier starting 5, but when it comes down to business, you couldn't construct a better quality starting lineup in terms of complementary talents.

 

Nelson and the point-forward controlling the ball, 4 shooters around a dominant inside presence, multiple slashing options, multiple post up options, multiple iso options...

 

I still dream of landing a top talent like CP3, but if we could get a player like Iguodala, I'm just as happy. On the other hand, if we keep VC past the trade deadline, unless he pulls a complete turnaround (and I don't mean turnaround jump shot), I couldn't be more disappointed as a Magic fan.

WOW... i would love it if it actually happens... but then we'd have almost 110Million in payroll including luxury tax.
