wowski replied to Noonskadoodle17's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
BTW... with wade as batman and lbj as robin... bosh should be a superhero too. i wanted to call him bat mite but it doesn't fit. since bosh is a lapdog, he may as well be called "krypto" -

Kg, Pierce and Ray seemed to handle it alright. i don't doubt that lebron wade and bosh can handle the "leadsership" question as we all know now who's batman and who's robin... as far as on court performance on the other hand... pierce and specially allen can space the floor very well. don't think i can say the same for wade and lebron. if wade has the ball from the outside, i dont think you would fear him driving and kicking the ball to lebron for a wide open 3. as far as bosh goes, he doesn't have garnett's defense which was what he brought to the table in a huge way. -

"He wants to play with another superstar. He wants to follow LeBron's model of teaming up with other great players." Paul's list of preferred destinations consists of the Knicks, Magic and Lakers, and members of his inner circle already have sent word to the Hornets of his desire to be traded to one of those teams, sources say. If Paul has his way, he's played his last game in a Hornets jersey. now.... what do we have against the knicks and the lakers?

Magic will keep JJ unless things change in 24 hours...

WOW... i would love it if it actually happens... but then we'd have almost 110Million in payroll including luxury tax. some are surely gonna get traded to lower the expenses. -
i'd actually rather have the other #1 back if ever pietrus and carter got dealt.

Miami How come nobody has ever mentioned the possibility of this? I mean, it has been talked about that they could possibly resign Wade and bring in someone like Bosh, so they have money (I haven't looked up how much money but I'm sure someone here knows). If they have that kind of cash, why not throw the Bosh money at LeBron? Would he make more in New York? Sure, but wouldn't you take a little less money to play with Wade? I would, but lets hope LeBron is all about the money. It would make the state rivalry more interesting, but if this actually happened we would have to decline Carter's option in 2011 and bring in Melo. Howard/Melo vs Wade/James would actually be pretty cool for the state rivalry come to think of it... Treytime's dream proved quite prophetic. thread also discussed how it could be Wade, Lebron and Bosh... now here's hoping that the Other Half of Treytime's prophetic dream comes true next year...

We are now now really starting to feel Shard"s bad contract.

Its something we can talk about years from now, about how we walked the same path with each other, with the team. Championships are a luxury. Its something we can taste because we've been so close. If we win one this year, yeah sure we'll talk about the glory season, but we'll also talk about McGrady, Darrell Armstrong, Penny and Shaq, Courtney Lee, JJ, Scott Skiles, the ****ty but homey arena, the venue vote, Game 7 in boston, beating King James, the nick anderson free throws, Grant Hill, all of the horrible trades, all of the horrible draft picks, everything. Everything Matters. i don't know about you but i don't wanna talk about the magic rolling over to the lakers in the finals last year and getting embarrassed by boston this year. I want to put that all behind me and look towards the future. the season they win a championship is the season they establish their legacy, imo. lets put the past behind us and look towards a brighter future! right now the lakers are #1. the magic are 1 of 29 teams that did not win a championship this year. that's how I look at it. For someone who is all about being a champion and not looking back at past "failures", it sure is weird you are rocking a Penny avatar. -
name 4 better 2 guards than vince carter right now.
wowski replied to mont's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
last year, the title of this thread would have been Name 4 better SFs than Hedo Turkoglu right now wouldn't it be cool if hedo was still here and have vince and hedo fanboys duke it out on who is more worthless? -

Your thoughts on this comment on Dwights Blog
wowski replied to Waiting For That Day's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
I wouldn't mind if dwight spends the summer in a big man camp or doing drills with hakeem. inspite of his "flaws", dwight can already do something with his skillset, speed and athleticism. before game 1 he said he was gonna use his speed against perkins but must have forgotten it come game time. i thought he was gonna do some face ups, do the jab step... vary it with his little off the boards jumper... use some of his up and under lay-in... and im not even talking about his various hooks yet an other movges he can do with his his left and right. stuff he has shown all season bottom line is he gotta do better decision on what he should use. he should quit trying to out muscle perk if he is just gonna throw up a shot from the right side of his head. and yeah, i believe a summer of working on those moves will help him a lot and erase the sweeping hook from his muscle memory. i know they do go in sometimes... but let pat ewing bury that move with him. -

How many times to I have to repeat VINCE WAS NOT BROUGHT HERE FOR THE REGULAR SEASON before people listen? Unreal. then why the hell is he playing?
