i think this move is made with the assumption that shard moves to the 3.

 

traditional lineup advocates get their starting PF. Stretch 4 advocates keep the philosophy.

Harrington could play the 3 and 4, even 5 in some situations, though you really don't want him too.

I'm pretty sure the thought with Harrington is that he'd come off the bench at the 3/4 spot.
